Has to be the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Couldn't even get through the installation process (Which is probably a blessing).
Installer showed up 7 hours after his expected time of arrival, had the wrong equipment identified on his work order, I made approximately 8-10 calls to Direct TV and was passed around between " Customer Service" and sales, cut off numerous times. Final conversation with a "Customer Service" person was unbeleivable in that she told me I had changed the equipment order twice and would therefore have to wait two weeks to schedule another installation.
The service technician says they do this all the time. He also said he was available to come back the next day and bring the required equipment, but that Direct TV would have to write a new work order. "Customer Service" refused and said that the work order was being cut for another Direct TV franchise (Apparently they have various franchised installation contractors that work in the same area and the fact their truck says Direct TV doesn't mean they are Direct TV emplyees).
During the initial sales contact I was also mislead as to what the installation technician would be able to do.
