SAI Alarm Company Complaint

Customer Service - Monitored Alarms

I bought a three year service contract with this company. The agreement was up this August.I'm thinking of dumping this service in August and going to a totally cellular monitored system and getting rid of Qwest. I called customer service to find out if they wanted their equipment back and was told the account was turned over to collections? This account was on auto pay and the credit card expired. According to customer support they sent one letter about the account being in arrears, but on questioning them I found out they sent the letter to a wrong address. They have three other ways of contacting me; two cell phone numbers and the home phone. You would think in the present economic climate the company would try to retain every customer they could.
Waiting for a call from the collection agency, never been late on a bill in my life.

I have had exactly the same situation occur to me within the last few days. I had no idea that the auto payment was not being rec'd by Firstline/SAI/Castlerock (they've had 3 names in l.5 years, no wonder their billing is such a mess). I had never rec'd any written or oral communication from them either & they have 2 telephone #'s of mine to reach me. Evidently, my SAI account was turned over to collections in March2009 and they just contacted me on 6/29/09 to pay $1100 for past services, breach of contract and equipment. I have placed a complaint www.bbb.com (better business bureau) and have been adv'd by a lawyer that SAI will only reply to written communication. No one at SAI will talk to me because I'm a "blocked" account for non-payment, they forward me onto their lousy collection agency that is playing GOD with me. What have you been able to accomplish with SAI/Castlerock or the collection agency? I, too, have perfect credit and have had previous billing issues with this company.
