If the product was purchased in Texas, file a complaint with the Texas Attorney Generals Office. There is already a pending lawsuit against them by their office because of the numerous complaints they have received.

I own a XC 3300 Dixie Chopper with a 74 inch cut. It is by far the sorriest mower I have ever owned. The mower has only 235 total hours on it and this is a commercial mower. It has been in the shop a total of 5 different times and for me it is 1 hour and 20 minute round trip each time. With the oil consumption so high, I buy the oil in 1 gallon containers, and it doesn,t last long. I should have known something was wrong when they brought it to my home to demonstrate it, the guy who was demonstrating it got the mower on an incline and the entire mower along with him was completely engulfed in gray smoke causing the engine to sputter, he made up some cock and bull story which I bought, but it has did it several times with me as well. Maintenance thus far has been as follows:

Battery went dead with less than 3 hours on it and had to be replaced
Mower deck lift and raise apparatus was manual, and had to be replaced with Electric.
Have had the wheel drive replaced
Throttle linkage has broke 3 times
I have had to have a compression check did on the engine ( oil consumption is very high, but
the Dixie Chopper people says it is within limits).
3 belts already replaced
It is in the shop NOW with Idler Pulley and spring broke, possibly another belt.
