Complete Incompetence - Appliance Rescue Service

Appliance Rescue diagnosed my 4-yr old KitchenAid dishwasher problem as needing a new Pump & Motor Assy (part under warrantee) and wanted to charge $159.00 for labor to replace it. I shopped around and found an honest licensed repair service that would install the Pump & Motor Assy for &89.95 but when he came out, he immediately diagnosed the real problem which took 5 seconds to fix: there was a little gunk in the drain air gap. I called Appliance Rescue to complain and to see if the company wanted to make whole their egregious mistake but they would do nothing. I am now working with the BBB to expose this company for what it really is: completely incompetent, no customer service, and possibly much worse. If I had hired them to replace the part, they would have done so and I (nor KitchenAid) would have ever known the real problem and we would both be out hundreds of dollars while Appliance Rescue profits.
