Complaint Over Message Screen Clutter - Disney Channel advertising

As I watching "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen" Sunday night with my family, my daughter, Alexandria, and my wife, Robyne, were complaining that they could not see the character's face because it was covered by a message appearing on the upper right hand corner of the screen stating "Night of the Stars" with a count-down timer. The message is so large it literally covers 1/4 of the upper right corner of the screen continuously throughout the entire movie until we quit watching the Disney Channel , frustrated with all the message clutter. This is one of the greatest complaints for giving up watching TV. My daughter was so fed up, she has decided to stop watching the remaining movie on the Disney Channel. I agreed and we flipped to another non-disney channel that didn't have all the message clutter on the screen. We probably will not be returning to the Disney Channel any time soon because of all the message clutter on the screen.
Sincerely,
C. Owen
