What I wanted to do was make more room for my wife and I since we're in a small house with even smaller closets the thing is that simple physics prevents this from being truly useful in an ultra small closet because you have to mount it so close to the closet bar (and it does NOT stick to the door as advertised, or maybe I just can't figure out how to make it happen) so you end up with this extra thing on the side but you have to smoosh the clothes on the original closet dowel in order to ever use the closet doubler. Too much work. Better maybe on the back of a door if again, I could figure out how to mount.
