Citi great? I think NOT! - CITI Bank Platinum Credit Card

I was in the market for a new card this spring and looked at a lot of different review sites before selecting CITI Bank's Platinum Card. It boasted 0% APR for 6 months and a low rate after that. I got the card in the mail and transferred $1000 from a higher interest card (and then the CITI card was filed away, not put in my wallet). On my first bill, I sent them a payment of $233. On the next 2, I sent the minimum $20, and the one after that $90... all well before the due date. Well, now they're claiming that I've been late EVERY month (I have bank records that show otherwise... and even the statements THEY sent me) and they cranked the APR up to 30%!! (without any warning either) and added multiple LARGE late fees. Last night I transferred the balance right back to my used-to-be-higher account (which has never otherwise wronged me) and I will be closing this TERRIBLE card ASAP. I've had credit cards for 16 years and have always done well with them, and this is a FIRST for such terrible screw-ups. Even though I paid almost $400 toward what was a "no interest" card... they claim I still owe them $1,008. Nice huh? Take your business elsewhere!!!
