I own a 92 Toyota corolla this car has never given me any problems and pushing 160k miles on it. About a week ago my alternator went out. Went to checker bought a $140.00 alternator with a lifetime warranty. Put in the new Alternator which ran fine for one day! This time I brought my alternator and battery in to have both tested. The alternator tested badly again and the battery was fine. The swapped out my one day old alternator with a new one from the shelf. I got home installed the New alternator things ran great for two days this time when my alternator went out on me again, this time on the freeway. Once again brought my alternator and battery in for testing. This time both tested as a bad unit. Replaced them both one day later same problem. I went back to checker to have them tested. Battery and Alternator tested badly, both are under warranty. I was told they could no longer honor my warranty due to them giving me bad parts over and over. This of course was not the news I was wanting to hear, so I told them fine to give me the best model of alternators they sale as I was not pleased with my current brand. The manager of the day at checker at this point refused business and wouldn’t even sale me a new alternator or battery said they didn’t want my kind of business. I take it by my kind they meant people that actually fix there own car and are willing to give repeat business to them. This angered me and regretably lost my cool at this point told the manager he was an Ass and was immediately asked to leave for swearing at him Picked up the phone and dialled 911 told the police that i was causing a scene and they needed an officer there to bring me to jail. Now normally I would have waited for Johnny law to show up, but i was running late for work! Although i am tempted to go back on the weekend to see if they really do call the cops I would not recomend dealling with this Store. There is a AutoZone and napa auto in the area that have been far more willing to take my money.

It seems as though the mgr on duty could've handled it better.. although for a person to be asked to leave, there must also be a good reason. I imagine you were frusterated and insulted the person who was trying to help you. perhaps if you'd kept your cool you would've been taken care of?
