Chase they close my account

I had a chase Credit card with $6500 credit limit in August of 09, at the end of August they lowered my limit to $3500. They said they felt that i didnt need that amount, so they lowered it. Now in October of 09 i had a balance on the card of $988. I was sent convenience checks with a 2.99% interest until 04/2011. So i paid off the $988. And now i had $3500 available, so i mailed one of the checks to another card with higher interest rate. A few days later i checked the other card and the check was reversed and was chard $39 fee. I called Chase, and they said it was denied because Chase decided to close my account after i paid it off.

Your not the only one I had 2 with chase and paid both of them off in full and about 20 days later when the statement came out they closed both accounts. NEVER made one late payment since i became a custimer with them and when I called they had no reason why they closed my accounts. It is amazing that they could do this to the people that pay on time every month and rarley carry a balance.
