The Canon EOS 40D was a reasonable purchase for myself as I'm somewhat seasoned at photography at this point and the $1500+ price tag really does fulfill the whole get what you pay for allegory.
I have had more joyful moments with this camera. The best thing is I got out to take photos that I'm pretty sure are good or at least decent but get home to find they are magnificent. I hate to credit my recent spate of art photos to a piece of tech but the truth be told this camera has upped my level to a bit more pro. Loving it.
