Can not believe it

On Nov. 18 2008 I was on my break at Mount Berry Mall In Rome Ga.. I went to Sears and I saw a Christmas spread for 39.99 and a towels set for 24.99. I had to have it so I put it on a card. They were beautiful. However, when I got home that afternoon they did not match. I took them back to the store on Nov, 21, 2008. That is when my nighmare begin. I told the lady at customer service I only wanted to change colors. and that I had misplaced my receipt. The first lady told me I needed my I.D.
I walked back down to my job in the Mall and Got my purse went back to Customer Service and was told that she could only give me 13.99 for the spread and that was what it was selling for. I told her no the sign still said they were on sale for 39.99 not 59.99 and I did not want money just wanted another color or gift card she said no! I left went back to my job. then went back to sears ABOUT TEN MIN. LATER ask for a manager, the same thing was said I could not change it unless I had my card or the receipt. WHAT IS UP WITH THAT. I WILL TAKE IT BACK TOMORROW WITH MY CHARGE CARD AND NEVER SHOP AT SEARS AGAIN
