Jan. 22 I tried to place flight reservation on cheaptickets.com . I had to redo it five times because the airline couldn't confirm my reservation. I finally got a flight the fourth time but I was charged by cheaptickets $33.94 three times for the failed reservations. One flight I wasn't allowed to board the plane for reasons I don't know. I called to have those refunded. Two got refunded on Feb. 7 including the problematic ticket (the airline refunded me that). However, cheaptickets failed to refund me the third one. I've been calling them ever since. I have to speak to a supervisor since their customer support are useless. They told me several things, that the ticket reservation does not exist, that I was already refunded, that they weren't sure if I was actually charged the amount or that I already had the refund. I was on the phone for almost two hours on Mar. 21! I, a cheaptickets supervisor and a representative from my bank even had a 3-way conference call because they want to assertain the fact. The bank did told them I was charged three times but only got refunded twice. The manager even keep saying the wrong amount for the duration of the call and I have to keep correcting him, including the bank rep. He said, he'll process the refund right away (as they all tell me) and I should wait 3 to 5 business days for it to reflect in my bank. They keep telling me to wait one to two weeks. And everytime I check, nothing! I'm on the phone with them at least an hour! It's freakin' aggravating! April 7, nothing! I called, and the lady supervisor (Lara) told me the previous manager actually placed the refund but there's a problem with their system that's why it didn't went through. wtf!? Why do they keep telling everytime that they have processed the refund already and yet at the due date NOTHING! Everytime I call I have to explain everything to them! The story line is getting longer and longer! What I don't understand is why is this company taking over four months to refund freakin' $33.94!!!? It's customer support overkill! It's a waste of time! It's not a huge amount, yes, but it's a matter of principle. This company need to honor their word. It's money they don't deserve and they should return it as promised! I swear, I'm NEVER going to do business with this shoddy company EVER!
