I am a IRM with Crescent Processing. I recently did a presentation for a merchant who kindly asked me to follow up with him. When I returned he told me that he did some "research" on the internet and told me that he didn't want our service. So, I decided to do some "research" myself. You know what I found? Bloggers are funny. ALL of the complainers are either bad salespeople or under informed busness people. For those of you who may be considering using Crescent Processing as your merchant service provider or working for them, I would consider that you take a deeper look. I personally have been with the company for 2 1/2 months and have made almost $8,000. Not the greatest, but I've done worse elsewhere. None of the merchants who have given us a chance have complained to me. In fact, I've received several referrals already. One thing to consider, complainers like to complain. If you are a bad salesperson, stop crying and learn how to be a better one. If you are an under informed business owner, do more research. Not only about merchant services, but business in general. There is a reason that 90% of busnesses fail in their first year. I seriously doubt that the number one cause is greedy merchant service providers. Isn't it funny how people (salespeople and business owners) want to make money, but expect everyone else to give them something for free? It costs to play in this game of life. I've had prior experience with working other merchant providers, and in my humble but accurate opinion, this is the best one around my neck of the woods. Complain less - do more. GOD BLESS.

2.5 months experience - wow! You are about as mis-informed as those you cite.

Crescent processing is a churn & burn processor that provides no training and only BS to its agents.

Like all the commenter's - avoid Crescent like Ebola infection - it can kill your business with excessive fees and charges.

I have had nothing but problems from this company, every problem has been a major hassel to clear up. The people i've talked to when calling in are extremely rude, and hateful. My advice is to stay away from this company.

Key to your comments is you have been in the buisness 2 1/2 months. did you have any training, hope you don't tell your merchants debit is just $.25 or just $.20 or just $.15 (read the application) plus network fees. Most reps with this company are either lairs or stupid. Pick another company to rep. for, if you have made 8,000 in two months in the merchant processing buiness you have either sold more than the average sales rep of 8 per month, or huge, huge processing or you have ripped them off...they will figure it out in a few months.

Hey, I appreciate the comment. It's good to know that there are others out there that can view things with a proper perspective. Don't know what you do for a living, but as long as your vision is clear I know you'll be successful. Be blessed.

This credit card processing company, unlike our former processing company, has a 2 to three day waiting period before depositing money to our account, a limit on charge amounts, may require you to fax a copy of the invoice to determine it is authorized, and in general requires "jumping through hoops". I have no problem with them making money, but I need my cash when it is charged, not a week later!

Ya Know...your assessment of some people is spot on!!!!
It never ceases to amaze me how
a. some people expect not want, expect, something for nothing.
b. base their decisions on some trumped up "scam alert" blog they read on the net.
Boys and Girls...here's a news flash...there is no free lunch, you need to provide services to employers and clients in order to get paid...it's called an honest days work. Next, to all you business owners...be brighter than that bloggers negativity you just read. Make your business decisions on real investigative facts, and not some bogus forum for whiners who like to whine...
