Billing practices - Boingo wirelsss

Boingo is a horrible service that exploits the ability of automatic credit card acceptance. I cancelled my service and two weeks later was billed a $7.95 fee. The shift supervisor confirmed the recorded conversation and agreed to the prior cancellation. Two weeks later my credit card shows another charge for $11.23, they claim it was for a usage before being cancelled but that is not accurate. This is not a question of the money, it is a dispute of the principle and unfair billing practice. BEWARE!

BOINGO billing service unscrupulous and I do not recommend anyone use it. With business practices such as these they will not be around in 5 years.

Cancelling with Boingo requires patience, commitment and resourcefulness. That's terrible! I know they want to pull money out of a hat to sustain their business, but I was so exasperated.

Maybe they should charge $1/hr whenever a user hops on via their hot spots, but extorting money from unwilling and unsuspecting customers is a quick way to build badwill which is the kiss of death for a business.

I just got ripped off by Boingo. I signed up for a one day usage at Ohare airport for 9.95$ and they converted me to a 21.95$ monthly recurring. If you have NO other alternative, watch your credit card.

If you would read the TERM OF AGREEMENT it's all there. I use the service and love it. Great Customer service as well.

I didn't realize my money gone without my permission until I received the bills

This is amazing that a company can charge you for a service that you did not ask for. I agree to pay for two month service and after they charged you automaticaly without asking anything or sending at least a email to tell you.
I did use the service when I was travelling for work and paid with a credit card that I only used in Canada or the State and I leave in France, I almost never check this credit card ,no reason when I'm not travelling.
I was charge for 7 months like this at 22$ a month.
