Melt-It Off with Mitch Gaylord Complaint

Be prepared to pay more - a lot more - Melt-It Off with Mitch Gaylord

Watch out for the fine print on this one. When you buy Olympic Gold Medal winner - Mitch Gaylord's workout DVD's you are also buying an autoshipment plan for expensive vitamins.

The web page notes that with your DVD's you get:
"FREE Supply of our Essential Boost fat burning supplement"

Nowhere on the receipt you print does it say that by buying these DVD's you are also signing up for auto-shipment of vitamins of $26.98 per month.

The only place you find the mention of the autship is on the shopping cart page in the small print to the left. That is the only place.

BUY WITH CAUTION. You can only buy the DVD's if you agree to auto-shipments of vitamins costing over $26.98. You HAVE TO buy the vitamins - they give you no choice.

I got burned by this - I don't want anyone else to. Now I have to pay postage to send the autoshipment back and hope that I can stop them from making additional charges to my account for vitamins I do not want.

If you look at the first page that pulls up before you order, it talks about the supplements and the 30 day upgrade and the option to cancel at anytime. The workout is great it really is. You just need to read before you order always. It is there. Just a person who doesn't like someone else being blamed for a persons lack of reading.

I disagree. The vitamins were plainly discussed at the time of purchase in the sales agreement. Also, you are able to cancel the vitamin shipments at any time after the initial free shipment, which I did without hassle. This workout has been great for me!

I just had the same thing appear on my card statement! I am calling in the morning to cancel this. Insane.

All infomercial orders are done the same way and this is no different. You, as a consumer have to be smart enough to get just exactly what you want. The best way to do this is to order online instead of by phone. I ordered just the basic set and did the workout twice and it's quite a challenge. I look forward to working out with this program and sticking to it to see the results.

I love Melt it off with Mitch. So far I have lost 65 pounds using the videos and have not dieted in a long time. This was the perfect work out routine for me. Did have one problem about getting the green tea pills without ordering but I called and cancelled them.
Thanks Mitch for helping to change my life.

Did you call to cancel? I just ordered this and want to make sure I will be able to cancel.
This is from their website:
-------------
Customers who have enrolled in Essential Boost (our automatic ongoing shipments program) may cancel all future shipments at any time by calling Savvier’s customer service center at 1-800-901-6184. To receive a refund on an Essential Boost shipment made prior to cancellation, just return the bottle, as mentioned earlier in this Satisfaction Guarantee.

I used a paypal virtual mastercard. I'm a big internet buyer and I use it for everything. You can use it a a renewing card or a single use card. I will call them before the month is over and cancel, but if they try to rebill me it will be denied

I keep reading everyone complain how there credit cards got ripped off! Here's some advice do not use your credit card to order!! Anyway I ordered this program by money order so the company would not have my checking account or credit card info. I really am happy with the proudut it is the best workout I have ever tried. I also received the pills, but I just called the company and told them not to send any more it was easy. I hope this will help some one else in the future.

Go to http://www.asontv.com/fitness/melt-it-off-g-ball-fitness-program.html.

It will be available here soon and you don't have to buy the vitamins.

Good luck getting a refund once you send your vitamins back. I sent mine back 6 weeks ago and have not received a refund yet. The people in India have an explanation for this, but I don't understand what they are saying. Seriously!

Sorry to say that you miss the choice at the bottom of the screen where you can click "no thank you" to all the offers you don't want, and just buy what you want. That's what I did and received only the DVD's and the ball of my choice.

Don't get the autoship dvd's either. They say that it's $19.99 per shipment but they charge you $19.99 twice for the first 2 dvd's they send. That's $39.99 for 2 dvd's that aren't worth $19.99.

I disagree with the comment not to buy this program. I love it and it does require you to buy the vitmins but you can stop the order at any time. This is just a selling issue. I have gotten GREAT results from this video did not have to pay a fortune for it. IT WORKS EVERY PART OF THE BODY and I FEEL GREAT in my results.

Ordered via the internet on 5/29/08. Product was never delivered and post office returned it to Melt it Off. Called CS and requested refund or replacement. Rep agreed to send replacement and to refund $10.00 on shipping cost because I complained that $20.00 for shipping was outrageous. Two weeks later I still have no product and call them again. I requested a supervisor this time. She explained that it would be easier to just cancel and reorder and she would issue credit for full amount. Via the tracking # they could tell I had never received the item. I did not reorder and she did issue credit within 5 days. But, 10 days later they charge my card for $30.86. Today I received the 60 capsules, which I did not order. I called them again, spoke w/ supervisor and requested immediate refund and RMA #. She provided both promptly. However, I did advise her that any further activity or charges by that company would cause me to file a complaint with the California Attorney General and Better Business Bureau. I'm not playing their game and quite frankly I'm not sure that the 'auto ship' requirement is legal, and if the print is so small that you can't see it on the order page, that too is a problem. Be aware.

All you had to do was cancel the vitamins within 30 days of the purchase date and you would get everything at the price listed.

That is simply not true. You can call and cancel the autoship of the vitamins. There is no penalty for doing that and customer service is very nice. I canceled the green tea vitamins because they made my stomach upset but I still was able to get my future dvd sets which are very good BTW. The autoship dvds are also easily canceled but consider giving them a chance. The cost is 19.99 monthly and your dvd's ship every 60 days. The second set of dvds was much better than the first set that comes with the ball. Go figure. I guess Mitch was tweaking his program. The second set is a cardio melt program that you can customize your workout. It also has the buns and thighs which is killer!

I ordered this online and canceled before it arrived as I did not want the autoship. The customer service reps are a bunch of out of the country nightmares. I wanted to scream by the time I hung up.So, I searched the internet and it seems you may buy without autoship however the company does not make this site easy to find. It is meltitoff.net
Hope this helps

I have been using this for 3 weeks now. It is tough, but I am feeling stronger and my legs are noticeably firmer. I haven't lost weight yet, but my pants are slightly looser. I also don't follow the diet, because there is no way I'm going to go completely without salt or cream in my coffee. Other than that, I normally follow a healthy diet anyway, so I do expec to results. The cardio is the hardest part for me. So far, I only do thirty minutes of the 60 minute cardio session. It is a very intense workout; just try to stick with it.

I usually don't buy into these informercials and I shouldve known better. I was under the impression, by the infomercial that you got 2 or 3 dvd's for the $14.99 price plus S&H, but when my order came all I got was 1 DVD, the ball, tapemeasure and a sample pack of green tea pills. I also didn't like the fact that when I called to place my order, I never got to talk to anyone, it was strictly automated & I was never given a total at the end (which I didn't like)

This company is very customer service friendly & you can order the product for the same price over the phone without the auto-ship option of vitamin, all you have to do is call & order & tell them you do not want the auto ship, they are happy to oblige & send you the DVD & G-Ball without auto ship, I am happy that you posted this though, so I knew about the auto ship before I ordered.

Same story here. I never once said I wanted vitiamins nor did I see where I signed up for them. This is why I use Amex for things like this, just in case! They fight it for you and give you your refund right away. Now the workout...I thought it was just me. I have never had such a hard workout and I am no wimp. I am in decent shape and always have worked out but let me tell you this..I was in so much pain after day 1's workout, I literally could not do it again until 5 days later! It is very advanced and I know my workouts, believe me so be careful.

you better call to make sure they cancelled your autoshipment. not only did they duplicate my order and left me with the return shipping bill, i called to cancel my auto ship and rec'd more pills anyway. supposedly a manager is going to call me in 24-48 hours - we will see - what a rip off....

I went through this too. Not only did I have trouble getting my money back I found the work out to be awkward. Some of the moves are extreamly difficult. I used to be a gymnast and am still in decent shape and I could not do the moves comfortably. Customer service is awful.

Thank you for the alert. I am receiving my DVD's today and already called to cancel my autoshipment. I totally overlooked that too.

Thanks again!
