Dear,
I placed my order using phone. Person who took my order told me that you will get charged $29 including tax and you can commit for a year for service.
But in my service agreement they had given me higher package without my knowledge and charged $62 from credit card. And customer care is saying your commitment is for 2 years.
I did called customer care afer 3 days but no one is helping me. I am really very very disappointed by the way direct TV cheated me.

Pardon the typos.... It infuriates me , this company without regard for customers called Direct TV.....Ask you friends that know the difference and you will see. Even the service techs know the customer service is terrible!!!!!!

No Customer Service!!!!! IF that is what you want see Direct TV. IW you want better, go to DISH!!!! I Can't wait to go back to DISH Satellite. I have all of the proof documenting the horrors-multiple-suffered at the incompetent hands of Diret TV. I know where they can directly go...

DON'T be fooled by Direct TV. We have a book of complaints from having to buy unnecessary products and remotes, extra wiring. 4 vs 2 receivers with the MUCH BETTER DISH Satellite. We had to cancel our original appt because the office would not let us give credit to a friend for the referral unless we rescheduled. That should have been an OMEN!!! It went downhill from therwe. The first tech ran extra wires , did not know how to connect the service and sold us some infrared thing that we can't use since the 2nd tech came (2 trips later) to fix his mess. Each step of the way we were confronted with unprofessional TERRIBLE attempts at Customer service. We were always referred to the contract-some states let you get out in 15 days, but not Missouri-DAMN. NOw we are satuck unless we buy out for $5oo.oo and our lost money on products we do not need, and our time-4 visits to make the system work half way right. DISH Satellite is SO MUCH MORE Professional and knowledgeable. You get what you pay for. TAKE IT FROM ME. WE hate it, but not as much as the customer service. We have not had to write as many letters to the president (a big laugh)of a company in so long it is ridiculous!!!! GO DIRECTLY AWAY form DIRECT TV!!! PAY a little more for a real company-DISH !!! DISH!!!! DISH !!!! I am contacting direct to put me on the calendar for the disconnect date, and DISH for the reconnect date!!!! DO NOT use DIRECT TV UNLESS YOU WANT PROBLEMS!!!!!!!!
