Bank of America poor customer relations - Credit card

Bank of america needs to be elimated I had a credit card with them for over 30 years and without any notice they closed my account for lack of use which to me is a good thing since i was not acumulating any debt, then i tried to reopen it and was told i did not meet the criteria anymore , what the hell I never was late never with a payment nor did I ever acumulate a big balance, so go yourslf boa you lost another good customer who will never ever recomend you!!!

A similar thing happened to me. I have never been late on a payment and have always kept a very small balance.This month I heard that they were closing accounts for inactivity so I charged about $170. at Costco today to keep the account current.I also decided to charge a hotel room for a relative coming into town for my daughter's wedding this weekend. However,at completion of the Costco transaction a cue came up to CALL THE BANK. Puzzled, I gave the checker my debit card and told him to use that instead. No big deal. I thought it may have been because the card hadn't been used much and the wondered if it was me using it.
I called the bank this evening to find out what was up. They have decided to "re-evaluate my eligibility" and that they have the right to do this any time they choose. The card doesn't expire until January. Mind you I have a perfect record.
My family started banking with Bof A 60 years ago in central California. I went to school with the grandson of the founder. There is a difference in what BoA was and what it is at this point. It's basically Nations Bank with the B of A name. They have now lost my business both for checking and my credit card business.
