Bad customer service / poor product - Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Dual Cyclonic Vacuum #3920

We have had other Bissell products (carpet cleaners) and have always been very pleased. So when it came time to buy a vacuum we decided to try the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Dual Cyclonic Vacuum #3920. What a piece of junk. Within the first 45 days the flex hose collapsed on itself, Bissell replaced it. The worst part about this product is that it gets VERY HOT. The worst part about dealing with the Bissell Company is their customer service department, even when buying belts etc. they have proved to be worthless. I would advise you to keep your receipt (you are going to need it) and purchase your parts etc. through a reputable co., avoid dealing with or giving your personal information to Bissell directly.

Purchased a Bissell ProHeat Carpet Cleaner and Vaccuum Cleaner. They worked great for 14 months until both units beater brush bearings died, replaced both at $20 ea. At 24 months had to replace steamer's "recovery tank" and "solution tank". At 28 months both units stopped working. Repair shop states both units will require new motors & housings. Goodbye Bissell, Hello Rug Doctor.

I have bought 3 bissell vacuumes in the past 2years. Every one of the motors had problems i was able to get two replaced but with out a reciept i doubt they will replace it again .I shouldn,t have to keep going through this doesn,t bissell know how to make avacuume?Now the last vacuume i exchanged blew the motor again IM SICK OF THIS ! I don,t have the time or money to keep replacing vacuumes this company needs to get a clue and make a vacuume that last,s longer than 6 months
