Bad Management - Customer Pool

Mirage Customer Pool, LLC of Lewisville, TX owned by Tom and David Hauk. Please stay away from these people. They will sale you a pool of your dreams and never deliver it to you. I signed the agremeent in May and it is now September. The pool is still a work in progress. The Owner Tom is the Construction Manager who is supposed to over see everthing with the pool. He shows up maybe every 2 weeks and says everything looks good. Then we have inspections that fail for 2 months when the inspector wrote specifically on the first inspection what needs to be done or the pool will not pass. It took 2 months before Mirage actually did what the inspector requested. Tom said it was a miscommunication and it wasn't mirages fault. If the inspector gives you specific instructions that I read easily, how is there miscommunication. Mirage said they would have my pool done in time for our daughters b-day in July, but it is now September and still working on it.

The pool I purchased is over 90,000 just for the pool. Mirage said they could deliver it on time with no issues. They blame the inspector for the issues. I can understand one failure for the same issue, but not 4 over a 2 month period for the same issue.

If they had issues with one inspection for 2 months, how do I know there aren't other issues with the pool. I asked for an extended warranty to make sure they back their product and they said they would not do anything to make up for the delay.

I will never recommned Mirage Custom Pool owned by Tom and David Hauk to anyone in Texas. Please stay away from them. Tom can be very abbusive on the phone when you try to question him about management of the project since he is the manager of the construction. You try to discuss missing payment until work is done and they fly off the handle, but they miss anything and it isn't their fault.

Go else where for a pool company.
