Bad Customer Service

I just got back from the Ulta store in Columbus, Ga and I am not sure I will go back. Being a new customer and not really knowing much about the Bare Mineral line of make up I went there thinking I could get good advice as well as a make over in the product. All they did was put on/ show me how to put on the powder foundations. As she was putting the product up, she stated that because I am freckley and my chest and face are darker than my neck I would have a line if I did not put product on my neck. She did NOT do this for me. She let me walk out of the store with a VERY noticable line at my jaw, white spots on my face where she did not take time to blend into my entire face and white circles around my eye area. I may have been eclined to spend more than I did had I not got the impression that she could not be bothered with giving me a full Bare Mineral product line demonstration. (as it is I spent over $100.00)

I agree CJ, but you must understand, unless the girl was a Salon employee with a cosmetology liscense, she is not permitted to do a full face make-over with any line of makeup. This is typically a Salon service at most places because they are liscensed to do those things. Anyone else in the makeup industry is permitted to do ao consultation. Was this someone from the salon end r the sales floor. This would explain some of it.

Being apart of the this industry for 30 years, it still upsets me to hear of such bad service. There was clearly a lack of passion and work ethic. I was taught "you accept a job, do right and do it right the first time. I would have seen this as a challenge and would have felt satisfied in finding an answer to this customers problem.CJ
