I recently shopped at the new super Walmart here on Washington Blvd in Halethorpe, MD and my whole experience was terrible once again. I started off looking for an all-in-one printer, copier, scanner, fax machine for my new PC that I'd purchased from this same location the day before. I had not one but 3 employees ignore me as I asked for help. The one, an african american, heavy set female with a ponytail, who went to stand behind the electronics register, looked at me and continued walking by me. Just as though she could not come help me because she had already taken a few steps past me. The next, a stocky caucasian woman with wavy brown hair, replied "I don't know" and walked away when I asked a question about whether the item I wanted was in stock. Finally, a young, thin, african american girl came by the aisle. I asked her, "Can you please tell me if you have any other printers that have fax machines?" Without even coming to a complete stop, she said "no" and walked by. If that wasn't enough, noone assisted me as I attempted to buy a gas grill. It was as if everyone had a non-stop destination, was in some big hurry or just didn't know anything. Customer service was poor and I did not enjoy the almost 15 minute wait at the register. The store was not noticeably busy and I was first in my line. The cashier needed a key to be turned for some reason and flashed her light. The blond-haired, african american female supervisor looked at us and continued conversating. The cashier went on to rant about how this supervisor thought, "she was all that" and saying, "She see us." I had to walk up to this supervisor and ask her to come over to the line because she would not stop talking and socializing with someone it seemed she knew. By this time, 2 other registers were flashing and waiting on her. She spoke sharply to me saying, "I saw you miss and I was coming" as though I'd interupted her. This shopping experience was by far the worst I've had anywhere. What happened to helping a customer at this store?

The Halethorpe Walmart is literally hell or earth. The staff at customer service are at least consistent in that they provide the absolute worst service you will ever find anywhere. There are always 5 ro 6 people back there, mostly the same ones, and they are ALWAYS complaining about management or store policies. In the meantime, the line grows longer and longer. Every few minutes, one of them will start to help a customer, never stopping their personal conversation and complaining. The rest of the time, they talk and laugh at the poor suckers waiting in line, enjoying the power they're having over the customers.

That's Walmart for you.
Maybe if they paid more money.
They may be able to hire people
that really want to work.
Not some lazy xwelfare chick
also, maybe they could hire
people that can speak english.
Ellicott City MD Walmart is
a disgrace.
