Sub: Request to replace Compaq Laptop with New One
Sir,
On 23rd August 2008 we purchased a Compaq laptop being serial no. CND822V970 wide voucher / receipt no. JCN/08-09/03189 from Jindal Computers, 14/2 Old China Bazar Street, Kolkata – 700 001.
In first week of October 2008, we were not able to start the laptop (even when it was fully charged), whenever it was disconnected from charging.
We moved to your authorized service centre at No.1 Dr. U.N.Brahmachari Street, Kolkata – 700 016, with the relevant complaint, and were informed by the engineers that the Mother Board of the laptop needs to be changed.
We were surprised, Brand new Laptop which was being duly passed as OK through such big branded company’s engineers as well as technicians, the main part Mother Board needs to be changed, however, needful was done.
But it was ridiculous, we had to move for the same problem again and it was shocking that the mother board needs to be replaced once again.
First we got the said Laptop as repaired from your service centre on 1st December 2008, and again we had to return it on 22nd December 2008, again problem? in such a short period, cannot be compromised.
It proves that there are some other major faults. And due to lack of knowledge, engineers at this service centre are not able to trace.
We had a severe pain to our trust to COMPAQ LAPTOPS, thus we request to the higher authorities to kindly update your laptops/service centre so that one could get a good relationship as well as good maintenance free Devices.
We strongly protest to receive this Laptop, which is repaired simultaneously second time, and resulted us a heavy loss to our work.
Therefore, we request you to replace this broken down Laptop with a new one, for a smooth and peaceful working, as well as to recover the losses.
Kindly do the needful, replace the Laptop with a new one and proof your awareness at the earliest.
