over the years I have bidded on priceline.com for hotel rooms. I am a frequent traveler who uses priceline about twice a week and work for a company that uses priceline about 10 times per week. We have never had a problem and have always been satified with its services but now I booked a hotel room a couple days ago and they charged me twice. After contacting pricline they said that 1 charge is the authorization charge and the other is the actual charge but they only show 1 charge in there system, they suggested I contact my bank and so I did. My bank says that there are 2 charges on my card and priceline needs to fix it. After calling back and forth they told me the charge will be dropped within 48hours and its been over 52 hours and I am still waiting.....Beware everyone they will try to charge you twice. They have lost a very loyal and reputable customer and the fight continues for me to get my money back. Next time I rather spend the extra 40 dollars instead of having to go through this hassle.....

I booked a flight online through priceline.com I accidently pushed a wrong date on the computer. Within a couple minutes I sent an email informing priceline of my error. Priceline basically said they would not refund or change the ticket date. Since I was to fly American Airines I called them and they said since the email show I let priceline know what happened right away, American Airlines policy was to issue a refund. Priceline again tole me they were not going to refund my money, would not change the date and let me fly at a later date. I'm on disability income and it took me awhile to be able to afford this ticket but now I'm told they will keep my money and will allow me to transfer the date on a later trip. In my opinion Priceline.com is a rogue company and I will be making plans to sue them. No person disabled or not should be treated in this manner. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AND AM SEEKING COUNSEL TO SUE THEM FOR TAKING MY MONEY FOR A SERVICE THEY DID NOT PROVIDE AND I DID NOT USE! mspaap2u@sbcglobal.net

Priceline is a ripoff. I've been waiting 3 weeks for my refund (which they acknowledged was their mistake) and still nothing. Hours on the phone...wasted

have worked with priceline.com before and they wouldn't charge twice for a booking, the fact is the system will prompt for a double booking (flight or accommodation) to verify if its correct, unless there's a miscommunication there shouldn't be a double charge. Regarding the credit card company, they shouldn't have promised 24hours for the charge to fall off the record if they cannot guarantee that the system will be able to process this on time, I did worked with a credit card customer service before and we are not allowed to guarantee such short processing time, they should have a safe margin if they want to promise something with their card members. I do believe that this case is not solely Priceline.com problem.
