0 I agree the globes don't work. I made sure they were upright as told and they still clogged with dirt and no water was released. not enough testing was done i don't think
0 I bought one at Gardenworks and no where in the instructions did it say to put a hole in the dirt first, but, I did and it is still sitting with water in it and it's clogged.

0 I for one did put a hole in the dirt first, and it did no good. The globe tip still clogged with dirt and all the plants died of thirst. A rotten product.
0 I had the same problem. The water could not get past the dirt and all three of my Hibiscus plants died of thirst. This is a rotten product.
0 My sister and I bought 8 of these pretty globes from Harriet Carter and returned them with no problem. They don't work as advertised. Some of the stems are so narrow it takes too long to fill it and it never seeps into the soil. Some fill up easily and run out in a matter of hours. Pretty, but don't depend on them if you're going on a trip!
0 THEY JUST DO NOT WORK. YOU HAVE TO PUSH THEM DOWN AND THEN THE DIRT CLOGS THEM EVEN WHEN YOU PUT A HOLE IN BEFORE PUTTING THE GLOB IN. THEY SENT ME A REPLACED ONE THAT WAS BROKEN WHEN DELIVERED AND THE 2en ONE IS ALSO BROKEN
0 and by the way, i did read the directions and followed them-water all drained out. tried just pushing them into the dirt hoping for a better result. a waste of money.
0 i bought these based on a review that they really worked. i agree with this review-they either plug up with dirt and don't drain or they drain as soon as you put them in the dirt-either way, they are worthless.
0 Jflee79, DUH to you too. I did follow the instructions. It got clogged up with dirt. As for my post being just a follow-up to another person's comments, I think it's a good idea for anyone who has had bad experiences to state their opinion. This website is for talking about products and companies, not to insult other members. Some advice to you. Take an English grammar class, because you wrote: "so it don't get clogged." It should be "so it doesn't get clogged" or "so it won't get clogged." Obviously you are not the know-it-all you appear to want people to think you are.
This is just a follow up on the person that said it dose not work. if you read the instuction it says to put a hole in the dirt first then put the globe in so it dont get cloged. duh!!!
