Apple Best Customer Service EVER! - Customer Returns

I have used Apple products for almost 29 years. I would pick their Customer Service the best of all companies. I have been consistently treated with respect, a rarity these days especially dealing with customer support over the phone. Overseas customer support can be hit or miss assuming one can understand the language. Apple has not put their tech support overseas as yet. If so, I can't tell and would not care if I get the same great support. Although, I would prefer the jobs stay in the USA. I have had numerous occasions where Apple outshines other companies in customer support. One that stands out is when they accepted a computer I wanted to return even though it was not flawed. I bought an iMac 20" in July 2008 using company discount. I found out 2 days after purchasing it that I could get a free iPod if I bought it with my student discount. I spoke to Apple and explained that I opened the box, but, wanted the free iPod. They could not send me the free iPod or even credit me for it. But, they would take back the iMac. They even sent me a free FedEx return shipping label (a $30 savings) an cautioned me to take the box to an official Fedex store not the corner shipping stores like Boxes Etc. (They said one women did not get a receipt for a Mac computer she dropped off at a shipping company store and could not prove she sent it. She was out $2000!) Apple got my returned iMac 2 days after I sent it. They credited my account within hours of receiving the box! I went to the Apple store and purchased another iMac under the student discount the second time, bought the free iPod since they have to be on the same receipt to get the rebate. I returned the rebate coupon and got my iPod free. I don't know of any company that would take back a non-defective product of such high cost without restocking fees AND ship it back for free!

Additionally, Apple told me all returned computers are checked. They sell them discounted as refurbished even though mine was opened/used 2 days and had no problems! They provide full warranties on all refurbished products.
