Cliff (the owner) of A-1 Performance is GREAT to work with!! I have been a customer of his for many years. What originally impressed me about him is his honesty. As a single woman not knowing very much about the mechanics of my car there were times when I would take my car in for repair and expected to hear that it would cost me a lot of money to repair but insted to find that it was a simple repair. That told me a lot about Cliff and the way he does business. He could have lied and said it needed more costly repair just to make more money but he chooses to be honest about things. He also charges very reasonable prices, he and his mechanics do EXCELLANT work and Cliff goes above and beyond in fixing things. Recently I took my husband's BMW sports coupe in for a major tune-up and some other needed repairs for his car . Besides doing the needed repairs, Cliff repaired one of the door handles (at no charge). The part of the handle that secures it to the door was broken and the handle had to be replaced. The part alone was going to cost between $140 and $300 ( a BMW part) excluding labor. I was so surprised that Cliff took the initiative to fix it. Cliff knew that we were going to have him replace the door handle down the road but instead he got creative and fixed it which saved us between $200-$350. He could have chosen not to fix the door handle and wait until I took the car in to have him order and replace it with a new handle but instead he fixed it. Trust is a KEY ingredient for me when deciding who I want to repair my cars and that is what Cliff has earned from me by the honesty he has shown me through out the years. If he says something needs to be replaced I know that he is telling me the truth. I HIGHLY recommend his company for doing your car's repairs. Not only for men to take their cars in for repair but for all you single ladies (like I used to be) to know that you can count on Cliff to give you an honest quote for repairs that are actually needed. He is GREAT!!!!!
