ACTION GPS! TERRIBLE! - Garmin c530

In February '08, I ordered a Garmin GPS from an internet company named ActionGPS . They advertise that they're an "authorized Garmin dealer" and will handle customer concerns, etc. PROMPTLY. NOT TRUE. These people will - for the most part - process and send your order in a timely manner. But they are TOTALLY unresponsive if you need to return a defective product. In my case, I received a Garmin c530 from them and it was completely dead. I even went to Garmin for help. In all, I emailed and called this company over 30 times, but they never responded. In other words, once they've got your money, GOOD LUCK. There are many complaints about these people on the internet. BEWARE. There are much better companies out there, and it isn't worth the grief to save a few bucks by dealing with these people.
VERY BAD BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Action GPS in Georgia is a horrible company to deal with. I ordered a gps on their website Sept 2008. Here it is Nov 2008, they have taken my money the day I placed the order but I have not received a GPS. The one that I ordered is now out of stock. I've called and left several messages, sent several e-mails and even put in a complaint with the BBB and I still do not have my $250 GPS. They are theives!!!!

I purchased a Garmin edge on August 28, I made several calls and emails and have never got a response. Today is October 20th and still no word or sign of delivery.
I am having my bank do what is necessary to return my money. The withdrawal payment transaction was immediate. My take is my purchase of $245.00 is a lost and wished I had seen these reviews before I made my purchase with this fraudulent company.

Follow up regarding the TERRIBLE service I received from Action GPS: They sent me a defective GPS unit in February and I repeatedly attempted to contact them by email and also by leaving messages on their "customer service" voicemail.
I never got one response. So I filed a complaint with the Greater Atlanta BBB; they mailed numerous
letters to this company, but again, no response. So if you're
crazy enough to do business with
these people, GOOD LUCK, because
you'll need it if you have ANY
problem.
THESE GUYS ARE A BUNCH OF THIEVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered an Garmin gpsmap 60hcx on AUG. 20. Shipping was to be 2-3 day fed ex. Today is Sept. 4 and I have still not received the product. I have left several messages and emails and have had no response. I have even tried to reach someone in sales just to hear a voice. This company sucks and in my opinion they are a bunch of thieves. They have messed with the wrong fucker. I will get my money back!!! They should make sure that they are not screwing an attorney before they do so!!!

Most people dont look at the reviews before they buy!!! The basic rule is "Caveat emptor" ... let the buyer beware... A friend of mine recently purchased a GPS from ActionGPS and they did send him the product, but after a week he found some problem with the product and wanted to return it. He emailed them and they did agree to refund the money after deducting some fee. He sent it in priority mail and they did receive the item but even after a month no refund of the money or any mails neither they attend the calls!!!!
