You may never image the big builder Shapell has become a very irresponsible and profit only company without considering its customers. Its house quality is declining quickly and its service people are careless and never say the word "sorry" to you if the house has problems and affect your life. I own a new Shapell home for two years and the home suffered flood twice in less than 100 days after I moved in. No one cares what your need is and its warranty people do everything to save Shapell's money but your home is the last priority of their concerns. Do you know Shapell has almost laid off every body in their headquarter. You never get a living being answers you call and its escrow department has only one person left. Worry your warranty after you buy its home in case something happens while a company in such a bad shape. Keep its every promise to you in written. otherwise, you may have to go to court with them. Its best expertise is to suit you at the court and collect money from you to overcome its financial difficulties. Be careful.
