McDonald's (McDonalds) Complaint
24 hours - order taking and service

Once again, BOTH locations have various signage CLAIMING 24 hour drive through service. Yet, at 2 different locations, I was denied service, at one they directly stated they were closed (what did I get there during the day's 25th hour?).
I would not be so upset if the locations did not have several signs claiming 24 hour service a the drive through window. But since they both do, and at one location I have run into this problem on more that one occassion, I have to ask if McDonald's knows what 24 hour service means...
In addition, I went online to file a complaint, and found the complaint section of the ir website was down!!! Really???

0 Store # 4249. I ordered two happy meals with chocolate milk. When I looked at the receipt, I noticed that they chargesd me for two small chocolate shakes. I went back to the cashier and showed her the mistake. Without saying a word, she turned to the store manager and said something. After a while, he came over to me and asked in a gruff tone, what is the problem? I explained to him that we did not get chocolate shakes that we got chocolate milk which comes with the happy meal. He opened the cash register and handed me a dollar and some change. Without counting it I knew this was not correct and asked him to explain why I didn't get the full $4.38 refund. He looked at me in discust and said he was charging me for two chocolate milks and that was the difference. I told him to look at the menue board which states white or chocolate milk comes with the kids meal. He looked as though he was going to come over the counter and smash me. I once again extended my hand with the dollar and change in it . He snached the bill out of my hand which sent the change sprawling across the counter. He then pulled pulled four dollars and thirty eight cents out and slammed it into my hand. He did not give me the sales tax which was charged but at this point I didn't care and left the store. Needless to say, I will not be back. I do not wish to share this complaint but I do want McDonalds to know how it's customers are treated at this store.
