Just like any other company, you sell service and whatever else it takes, promising customer support and a lot of other stuff, but when the time to deliver eventually comes, it's all promises. It might seem like you got away with it but beware because once people... More...

Awful Customer Service Comments
I, like many others I'm sure, signed up with this company with promises of a fixed rate for 1 year and allowed them to directly draft from my account. I received my bank statement to see that they charged me $33.89 more than agreed . My previous statements reflect the correct amount of $94.76.
I called to get this corrected and was told that I did'nt submit a "discount" coupon that alledgedly was sent to me by mail or "online" (Unfortunely my computer has been out for over 2 months and a new one hooked up this week). Anyway, I never saw this "coupon" so it was never sent in to them.
Today when I spoke to 7 different people....(yes 7), getting all types of stories from I think I can help you..then getting transferred to someone else, I was told that because I did not send in the rebate form, that I was not eligible for the rate I was quoted.
Now...logic must not apply here. First, I have been billed twice at the agreed to amount....so I must have done something right. It is a matter of their record that I did sign up for this service at an agreed to price, and I have paid my bills to date (auto bank draft!~!!!) But can no-one see that I am entitled to this discount?
Anyway, I'm not happy with this company. I really regret ever calling them to install their service. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and have to watch every dollar these days so any money extra that goes out takes away from something else.
They should be ashamed! I'm afraid to see what they are going to do next month. Unfortunely, they also have you "hooked" that if you cancel they can charge you all kind of fee's. I am in contact with my Attorney to explore my options..I'll post more when I find this information out.
Hope somebody reads this.....Hope it helps.
I recently moved and was told by Verizon Fio that they do not service my area, but they are affiliated with Direct TV. When I asked about the differences, the rep told me there was no difference, so I said ok.
When I got it installed yesterday, first I realized there was no pay per veiw movies - or anything like that, so that was the first disappointment, but then this morning when I turned on the tv to get the local news - I discovered to my horror that I do not get ANY local stations - OR any of the major networks!!!!!
HUH?????
WTH?
No Fox, No CBS, No nothing!!
How the heck could they have neglected to tell me this???????????
Then to add insult to injury - I find out that my very next door neighbor (in the same building) does HAVE fIOS!!
I am so annoyed!
Please do NOT go with direct TV!!
