It was painful to lose the data, it was like these guys played with my life and precious moments which I won't recover anymore. :( :( :(

I am happy MediaMax aka TheLinkUp are closed. Even I have now doubts over Nirvanix which is related somehow to the same people/company.

waaahhh! they should have at least informed us! i have stored a really rare/ hard to find/ not available in my country music file on my account since I have no CD burner back then...they better wish that i find a copy of that song again

This company has changed name twice.. from shareload to mediamax to thelinkup. No matter what the name is, its still the same lousy company with horrible, unreliable service.

also a paying member for years. No warning of this move. All my files are missing, with no clue as to if/when I can access them again.

Can someone please tell me if MM/The Linkup Customer Service actually replies to it's customers?

Today was the first time visited MM after 2 months earlier.

BUT I am NO LONGER ABLE to LOG INTO my account -- as a current PAYING customer!

My email address and PW associated with my account are no longer recognized.

Nor did I ever receive any "activation code" in order to enable whatever "transition" customers needed to make in order to access their current accounts.

Any info as to whether the MM/Linkup Customer Service peeps actually RESPOND to their customers' emails would be most appreciated.

I've already posted at their blog, my complaints and requests for help in order to even ACCESS my 1 year pre-paid account!!!
