I made my payment on time, I was upset that I was billed the late fee. I was hung up on by the representatives this comapny has bad customer service. I am going to pay off my credit card bill and cancel it . This is horrible.

Do not use WAMU for anything. WAMU warned me that my checking account had been compromised to the tune of $502 at a casino here in Vegas. I agreed that I had been skimmed and requested reimbursement as WAMU promises in the ads. Two weweks later I was informed they would not credit my account since they could not prove I had been "skimmed". Ergo, they were accusing me of stealing from them. I immediatly withdrew #45,000 from WAMU. Smart business decision on their part, don't you think?

I opened an online savings account with WAMU. Service agreement says can call and terminate account. When I went to terminate my account because of inconvenience of online setup, I told them to cancel. I transferred money out. Then I got a 4.00 fee for non-maintenance of min. balance. OVERDRAFT FOR ME! I called in and told them that I had tried to cancel this last month. They would not waive the fee and said that I had to write a letter to cancel account and send it to San Antonio Branch with a check for 3.99!!! I called back today and told them that the service agreement CLEARLY STATES THAT I CAN CALL IN TO CANCEL. No luck, still owe the fee and dang account is STILL OPEN. I mailed the letter off on MONDAY!!! WAMU BITES!!
