I see I'm not the only one having problems with Chase. I applied for a refinance on April 22, 2009 to lower my interest rate. Paid a $395 application fee. I have sent in documemts twice and have had 2 appraisals done, becasue Chese decided after 4 months, the original appraisal was no good because the appraiser was on a watch list. Every time I call I'm told the person I need to speak to isnt there. When I leave voice mail messages and send emails they are not returned. This has been going on for 6 months.

hey to everyone out there i've read all the complants and i've read all the complants and i just keep reliving my daily nightmares.we have been going though the mod. process forover 7 months resubmitting documents constantly.i called them 2 to 3 times a week to make sure they had all they needed.i always sent in everything every month to make sure. they always said they didn't get it(bull)because i got conformation they did .when i called it was a different sorry every time.i was told to make sure i was behind to make it go faster. so we did(which we nevwe did before)they said you will defenatly going to get this dont worry.everything you have read drom all these hard working people has happened to us and tons more.i called again 2 days after i just called a was told "YOU HAVE BEEN DENIED BECAUSE YOU DONT MAKE ENOUGH"i have always payed even with the loss of income "HOW IS WITH A LOWER PAYMENT I COULD'NT" they said that the bank puts a baloon payment at the end of your new 40 year loan and with what you make now you cant afford it"WHATS THAT ABOUT?)i said i'ts ok to loose my house then? she no you can just turn over the house to us,it's better then us taking it from you.they said it's not us it's obamas plan.i could have refinanced 7 months ago.bottm line chase is a crock as well as a crook.

I hate Chase!!!Like all of you, I faxed and overnight mailed the required documents to the Modification dept. I've been doing this since March 25, 2009. I keep getting requests for documents I've already sent at least twice. Meanwhile, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing or doesn't care because the Collections dept. CONSTANTLY harasses us. Morning, noon, night, 6 days a week - home, office, wherever. They're rude and nasty. In fact, the Arizona office (a jerk named Mark Fineout) even questioned my judgment and told me that my trial period plan that CHASE offered me didn't make sense to him and why on Earth would I agree to it! They call me 4-5 times a week even though I'm making my payments according to the "trial period plan" they put me on. Collections tells me that I didn't send in my Sept. modified payment on 9/1 as per the plan but I told them I didn't even know what the plan was because they didn't offer it to me until Sept. 4 so how could I be noncompliant with something I didn't even know about! It's tragic and fraudulent. It's depressing and there are days I just want to take to my bed and pull the covers over my head but my family needs me and I know that God will see me through. Even though Chase wants to break your spirits but DO NOT LET THEM BREAK YOU! We are all hardworking people that are doing the best that we can. Deal with the Special Lending Unit and tell Collections that you're working with the Modification Unit and that once they put you on a trial plan, you will mail in your payments. Believe me even if you call to make your payments THEY WILL STILL HARASS YOU so take back control and send your payment by snail mail. If you really prefer to phone in your payment, call them the day before to pay it by phone (fee should be waived.) You have to call the day before so that it will post by say the 15th because if you call on the 15th, they will post it on the 16th and add on another late fee! NEVER let them set you up on FastPay because they will automatically debit your account 1 day before the due date even though you tell them that the money won't be there until the due date. Best of luck all. I will keep all of us in my prayers, including Pres. Obama who tried to do an honorable thing only to have it degraded by Chase.

HORIBLE, HORIBLE, HORIBLE
After 7 months of faxing documents after documents I was told I ddint qualify because fo insufficient income. Only found this out becasue i called and not because Chase notified me. I just dont understand I thought loan modification was to help those who could not pay for the loan... HELLO.........IF I MADE MORE MONEY I COULD PAY THE MORTGAGE!!!!!
