I have had to deal with Bosch in the past over a Themador built in oven. Customer service was the worst I have ever dealt with. Our installer also tried to deal with them without success. When our Bosch dishwasher died (electrical problems just like our Thermador), I swore I would not purchase another Bosch product. I checked with our local retailer and they said Bosch's customer service had gotten to the point that they tried to no longer sell their product and suggested I purchase an Asko unit. I liked the construction (Swedish), but my wife didn't like the design. I finally went to Lowes. They had a Bosch SHE45M05UC that we liked. I told the salesman my concern with the company. He agreed fully; however, his problem was with a washer and he found their customer service to be uncooperative. His Supervisor called and also got no were. He now steers customers away from Bosch products except their dishwasher. I put my pride aside and purchased the Bosch unit. Lets hope I never have to deal with their customer service in the future!! If Electrolux had been on the market a little longer I would have purchased their dishwasher.
