Aqua Globe Comments

These do not work. Two brand new plants are now dead as a result of using them. The tips constantly plugged no matter what I did. When I would then unplug and refill the globe, it would then overwater the plant. I am now out at least $50.00 - $20.00 for the globes and $30.00 for the plants.

I think they work great,I have 8 in outside hanging baskets.I have two in each, I water the plant first then take a long screwdriver and poke a hole and insert the globe, a small amount of dirt in the tip does hurt. I use the globes when I am away and they work good for about 5 days.

I love my aqua globes. I started out with two now I have them all over the house in every plant. They also add a little color around the house I just wish I could pick the colors because they usually come im multi packs. If you have trouble getting it into the plant for the first time I water the plant let it sit for awhile then take the end of a wooden spoon and drill a hole until I reach the bottom. Love, Love, Love this product.

Ok, so after looking at the reviews I'm getting you need to follow directions, as for the special individual who used a colorful way to describe folks who buy things on tv, back at ya babe, you're a moron. My husband bought these globes for me and I never even got the cahnce to try them because it was packed so tight taht when I went to unpack it the foam came apart and dropped both my globes - just my luck I guess. I'll just go to home depot and buy more to ty it. I'd just like to say people as with any purchase, its fine to want a product to perform as advertised however on the box it clearly states for UP TO 2 weeks, it never guarantees 2 weeks, AS for the smaller hole on the second hole, has it ever dawned on anyone, anyone at all that the globe is for plants that do not require as much water such as cacti or i don't know aloe. Now I'm all about a consumer getting what they pay for, however I am also a firm believer of READ THE DIRECTIONS and TAKE RESPONSIBILITY as far as you still need to give your plants attention. I DO NOT WORK FOR THE COMPANY. However I do work in the Customr Service field and let me tell you unless you have a robot or slave, companies were not created to provide you convenience AND wipe your butt if you get my drift

I love my aqua globes. At first I didn't think the water was going into the soil, but it was just enough for my plants. I wish makers of Aqua Globes would create a smaller globe for smaller potted plants.

To the woman with the toxic mold... If you weren't smart enough to clean the wetness up when it first got on the floor and didn't get the house cleaned before it went that far, maybe your fate was sealed for you.

Really folks! If you can't get them into the dirt, your plant is most likely root bound and needs to be repotted first. Think! if the tip does not rest in dirt of COURSE the water is going to leak out. In order for the dyamics to work it must be in dirt so it is absorbed slowly by the plant. The top of the soil will be dry as the water is at the base/tip of the stem. I usually spray the top of the dirt when I spray my plants just to make me feel better. I have a bunch of these and once I got use to them I was a happy camper. Plants absorb water at different rates, these keep me from over or under watering. A little dirt is the stem is a small price. BIG plants use a lot more water so a small globe may not last 2 weeks! Please folk-take a deep breath and think before you HATE something. Hate will make you ill ;-)

I hated this product, when i put it into my pot it dumped out all the water into the plant at once. The commercial I saw said it would dump little by little. I am very saddened by this false advertised product. I was very excited to get it but it was no worth the money i payed for it.

Aqua Globes are amazing. I had a lot of trouble with keeping my plant watered. I would over or under water it and the poor abused plant never looked healthy.

I now have aqua globes in both of my plants and they are happy and thriving. Thank you Aqua Globes for making me a better gardener and a better human being.

I received the Aqua Globes for my birthday and I put them in my plants. I was sitting by the plant today and one of the globes just burst and got me wet and made a mess and I had to clean it up.

My company in the UK are the creators of the Hydro Globe. It is similar to the Aqua Globe but ours are much better quality and actually work. They are made of much stronger glass, we have not had one incident of breakage when inserting them into the soil. They are also far better looking and much more colourful! See it at www.milfordcollection.com (website currently under construction but you can view pictures!!) or buy it online at www.prezzieplus.co.uk, www.kraxi.co.uk, www.thanksdarling.com and many others!!
